my puppykitten

today, as i was preparing to take a nap, mini wandered into the kitchen. minutes later i heard a loud, soulful meow which really sounded more like "owwwoooo." i called her name and she came for cuddles. as soon as i closed my eyes, she jumped off me, went back into the kitchen and made the same loud meow. i wondered if she could actually be hungry! sure enough, when i got to the kitchen, she scampered over to my feet and meowed a food times. when i didn't budge, she walked over to her food bowl, meowed, looked up at me, and meowed again. this seems like a very dog-like behavior, just like half of the things that mini does everyday. if only lola would take some cues from mini and be more of a snuggly puppy!
