today, my automatic cell phone alarm went off at 6:10 am. i cursed a few times and turned it off. because of the commotion, lola woke up in her nook and started plodding over to me. i hurled my head back to the pillow, only to discover that lola had done one of her stealthy feline ninja moves and was already taking up 80% of my pillow. i settled for the remaining 20% and we slept in until 9:30. every so often, one of us would wake up and snuggle into the other. when mini realized we were both half-awake at 9:30, she came over to join us (she spent a rare night away from my feet). she flopped on my shoulder and rested her head on lola's. before i knew it, the two of them were back to licking each other and having the cutest snuggles right on top of my head!! oh, i love having snugglykins. hopefully i am not turning them into lazy kitties, though -- i am going to get them new toys today so we can balance the loving lounging with healthy workout time!
