poo-poo news first: lola's responding to the hill's z/d. her poopoo starts formed and then ends in a liquid mess. but hey, progress.
onto non-exrecement news: today, for the first time, since returning from my parents' house, i caught mini giving lola a nice little tongue bath. right now, i am sitting half up on my couch with my legs extended. lola is curled up into a tiny little ball with her head on my knee; mini is right behind her and keeps nuzzling her head into lola's neck. the cuteness is back!
mini has been warming up to me ever so slightly. this afternoon, she took a nap next to me and let me pet her without backing away.
i rearranged the house over the weekend and created some new special nooks to specially fit mini and lola's preferences. for mini -- a cozy tube that can be turned into a toy. for lola, a little "cave" in the middle of a new window shelf. i must know my kitties well, because they both find their new special spots right away and curled up for naps.
my kitties are the best.
