kitten hell

on my couch right now:

-one very adorable kitten who, despite having sutures on her belly, is scrappy and curious as ever. mini acts like my baby and needs to have fur-to-skin contact with me as much as possible. she is also maintaining her butterball weight, so i now have a chubby kitten on hand.

-another beautiful kitten who is having a terribly recovery to her spay. lola is depressed and absolutely miserable with the cone. without the cone, she immediately starts biting her sutures. she continues to bleed from places she shouldn't, cries every now and then, has become scared of things that she normally used to beat up (including mini), and does not want to leave my side.

i don't know what to make of lola. she seems sad and in pain, though mini's recovery has been effortless. i want healthy kitties! and a less stressful kitty life!
